RonaldW.Sitch is a family-run business set up in 1776, specialising in the reproduction and restoration of metal light fittings. The company has been located in a mid-19th century town house in the heart of Soho since 1903, where Ronald, and his sons, James and Laurence preside over five floors crammed from top to bottom with every kind of light fitting imaginable, most dating from the beginning of this century.

We renovate and rewire antique light fittings, duplicating originals and replacing missing parts as requested, be they a client's own fittings, or ones they choose from our stock. We also manufacture a range of models following traditional methods, and can create new models to your own specification. In addition to this we can convert vases to lamps and have a polishing shop on site where we colour and finish the metal work of the light fittings, as well as other items that customers bring in such as stair rods, and even boat propellers!

Business is diverse, —the company has done work for the National Trust, English Heritage, as well as a range of gentlemen's clubs, embassies and even 10 Downing Street, Clarence House, and Edinbrugh Castle, as well as supplying the fittings used in the films "Titanic" and "Merchant Ivory."
